Where do I begin? This is a great idea and a great alternative option than spending $1,000 on black wheels. At first I only put them on my passenger side to see if they would hold, then drove down to Maryland for the weekend and came back. 4 hours of 70-80mph driving and they held on and stuck. So I put them on my drivers side and its been a month and everything is still on. Very impressed.
Now it may be a quality product but installation is arguably the most important part so I’ll go over how I installed them which is the best way I find to install vinyl decals. First I clean the section of the wheel off with rubbing alcohol, make sure theres no dust or grime. Dip the decal into a bowl of soapy water, stick it on the wheel, and lightly squeeze out the water when its lined up. With the wet method, it can be a pain squeezing out the water because the whole decal may move with the way you squeeze. Then I let them go, don’t fold over the excess edges. What I did was let the edges cure in the sun for 15-30 minutes before I stuck them down. Then when the time came to fold over the excess I used a heat gun and folded them over. I then used the heat gun and just quickly went over the whole decal making sure everything was on right.
Theres videos on YouTube you can watch if your having trouble applying these.
I would recommend these for your tacoma as they are great and totally change the look of your truck.
Shipping was about 2 weeks but worth it. Thanks for the quality product!
