Our precision cut Toyota Tacoma Off Road wheel decals fit the "chrome area" of your stock/factory wheels. One set will include decals for all four wheels (25 pieces) with one to spare if you happen to mess up. These fit all 3rd generation Off Road Model Tacomas (2016, 2017, 2018, 2019).

These vinyl decals comes in the following colors:

Matte Black

Our decals are made from premium Oracal 651 vinyl film and are expected to last 7+ years when applied correctly and well maintained.

Shipping

These decals are cut on demand and shipped by one of our partners. All orders are sent via USPS ground and usually ship within 5-7 business days.

Installation

These are kind of tricky to put on. They will take you a few hours to do them correctly. This is not a fast project. When done correctly, you will see no silver on the wheel as there is approx 1-2mm of extra material to fold over the sides.

Please note that you cannot leave the unused decals in direct sunlight while you are installing or it will ruin the decals. We also don't recommend installing them when it is hotter than 85 degrees or cooler than 65 degrees outside. It makes it far more difficult to install and increases the chances of error.

You can return any unused or non-damaged decals for a refund. We do not provide refunds for used pieces or if you failed to follow the instructions. You will be credited based on the number of pieces returned to us.

Not enough overlap on decal
I went through all of the recommended steps: waited for 70 degree weather, used a heat gun, thoroughly cleaned rims with alcohol prior to applying. Gave up after getting about halfway through a wheel.
Despite what the installation video says, there really isn’t enough extra material on each decal to make installation easy. Given the shape of the decal, there really isn’t a good way to just eyeball the fit before sticking down. Once you get it applied enough to notice the fit isn’t right, you have maybe three more attempts before the decal stretches or tears.
If the install recommended a soapy water approach, I think a lot of the headache would be avoidable, since you have that ability to slide it around for a perfect fit.
Finally, if you’re going for the TRD wheel look, I recommend getting the TRD Center Cap Vinyl Domed/3D decals and installing those first. Adding those to the wheels gives just enough flare to the TRD OR wheels that I’m not even sure if I want to go the plastidip/wrap route anymore.

I tried to follow the video with the gloves and dry decals but it was way too sticky. I then moved to soapy water and it worked perfectly.
My other suggestion would be to raise the wheels if possible. A lift or even ramps would make a world of difference for viewing the decal as well as your back.
The look is amazing. I have completely blacked out my 17 Tacoma and it looks awesome. The wheel decals were the cherry on top.

Can't beat it for the price
I really want some matte black rims, but it's not in the cards for a couple years. I stumbled onto these and figured for the price it was worth a try.
I'm glad I did. Installation took about an hour, and of course I will forever notice the small inconsistencies and things that frustrate me, but they look great.
A couple things to note:
I wouldn't recommend installing them in cold. Against my better judgement I installed them in 20 degree Utah winter, and tore a couple corners because the vinyl got very cold.
Be careful removing them from the backing - a bunch of mine started to take paper with the vinyl and I had to remove it from different sides to avoid them taking paper with them.
Also be careful with the heat gun (I didn't try the soapy water the other reviewer recommended- and maybe should have) - even the lowest setting on my gun had a shrink-wrap effect on the vinyl. It didn't allow me to stretch it. It ruined it instead (I ruined the extra piece they sent).
Overall, for the price (assuming they hold up), I'm very happy and it will definitely suffice for a few years.
